i had asked a relative in the US to send in a check of $1,000 in favor of georgetown university along with the other documents that they had asked to submit (read the acceptance form). it took them a while, almost 2 weeks to update the status on the online application, but now it reflects that they have received the check.

if u dont have any1 in the US to do the same for you, u can get a demand draft made from any of the international banks and send it across, a few ppl did that as well and the school accepted that. as long as they get the money, they're cool with it

cheers

I will be honest. Georgetown is reputed for it's law school and not for its mba program.

Compared to the ivy leagues and even schools like duke, carnegie mellon, usc etc..
georgetown pales in comparison.

the school tries to play up the location and prestige. but from a recruiting standpoint.

georgetown is considered.. so far as a fluff program with few winners and majority average students.

also keep in mind.. the school has a jesuit culture and limited indian students.. undergrad and grad..

its so so.. it might be ranked in top 25.. but if you get in somewhere else..

GO for it
