Hi federal oshima,

Welcome to this thread.

I am wondering when am I going to have my interview. Because I could not have an interview at 'MBA Tour', Mumbai. And Georgetown do not have any online system for scheduling Telephone interview.

@amit_thesailor, @Exuberence

Can you please tell me how did you schedule the interview? Did you get any mail from Georgetown after submitting the application?

Regards,
Nisha

P.S. Guys, dont forget to post your experiences here after the interview.

Hi Nisha,

You get to schedule an interview when you submit Part 1 of the application for McDonough. There is a particular question asking you to state the mechanism you will like to schedule your interview. One of the options within this election happens to be: "I will be submitting my application by Dec 15. Please schedule an off-campus interview".

Choosing this options and submitting my application in R1 allowed me to schedule an interview with an alumni, Karina Rajpal, out here in Delhi.

The interview was quite fixed in terms of preset questions that the alum had with her on a form. These questions happened to be:

1. Strengths and Weaknesses.
2. Leadership example in professional life.
3. Short-term and long-term goals.
4. Why Mba and y mba from Georgetown.
5. What kind of activities will you like to be involved with at Georgetown.

All in all, interview went pretty well.

bye

Ashish

Hey Ashish,

Thanks for sharing your experience. I had checked the option "I will be submitting my application by Dec 15. Please schedule an off-campus interview". But there was no off campus interview in Mumbai. So I contacted AdCom regarding the same. He told me to submit the application and also mentioned that interview could be scheduled after submission also. That is why I wanted to know whether you scheduled it before the submission.

Is there anybody who is facing the same problem?

Regards, Nisha

When I submitted the Part 1 of my application, I received a mail from Georgetown that they will get back to me regarding the interview. Then after a week I received a mail requesting me to book an interview by accessing a link. By the time I chekced this mail all slots for the Delhi interview in this link were over.

So I mailed them again and received a reply that they will be in India in Jan now and I can take the interview at that time.

So I guess we have to wait till Jan for the interview now...

Thanks Nathan,

Last time Georgetown was here for The MBA Tour (on October 6, 2007). The MBA Tour has their next event on January 14, 2007. But the registration is only by invitation. Also, the time is yet undecided. So better be ready for the interview, in case we get an invitation in Jan.

I will keep you updated if I get some news.

Regards,
Nisha
