Top Schools guaranteeing loan to int'l without cosigner - 20-10-2007, 03:58 PM

Hi Guys,

I am starting this thread.
Here I would ask people to make list of global schools which guarantees you a loan.
This is irrespective of citizenship and no need to cosigner.
I would also request people to provide interest rates and origination fee.
Most of the top schools like stanford, harvard has 0% origination fee.
Assumptions --
Prime Rate P = 8.25
LIBOR = 5.36

Would love to get input from existing mba students or mba alumnis.
Here is what I could get from school's individual websites.

Guarantees
--------------------
Fuqua (Duke) - P+2 = 10.25%
Stanford - 7.92%
Harvard - P-0.125 = 8.125%
Ross (Michigan) - P = 8.25%
MIT sloan - P+0.25 = 8.5%
UNC Kenan - guarantees but no info on interest rate
Cornell - Guarantees
Wharton - P + 1.5 = 9.75%
Tuck - LIBOR+3.75. = 9.11% , 2% Origination Fee
Judge Business School @ Cambridge via HSBC

No Guarantess
------------------
Insead
USC Marshall

No idea
-------------
Kellogg???????????????
Columbia ???????????
Chicago?????????
HASS - P+6.5!!!????
Stern:NYU ????

Hope this is helpful for people. Please correct and update the list. make sure you get data from official source.

Note-- I will keep updating this list from the info i receive on this thread.

Tuck is LIBOR+3.75.

Hey jbigtani, Could you consolidate the data of the tread by updating the first post itself? One more thing, if one takes a loan without a cosigner therez somthing called origination fee.
For eg tuck has 2% origination fee.
