hey
i have some friends at kellogg and they have told me that there is more likely of a person who has given the interview to be selected rather than a person who has not been interviewed even though kelloggs site says otherwise.
IMO, any Ivy league college MIGHT not take any candidate without an interview (which i believe is the 2nd most imp thing after the applications)
Thats just my opinion
Also all international candidates SHOULD apply by round 2 only
Gud luck to all

Hi...
This is what Linda Abraham wrote in response to a query in her blog.....
'I noticed that last year they interviewed 100% of accepted applicants. To me this means that they will consider your file first and if they are interested will approach you for a telephone interview.'........So after waiver if u receive a call....means.....

I would be interviewing next week. Still to schedule the final date.

@Saurabh - Yes, Kellogg interviews all the applicants but grants a waiver if the alumni are unavailable in the area. The interview assignments (and waivers) are issued in the order of submission of Part-I of the application.

A Kellogg interview is not a next-level process, rather it is an opportunity to know more about the school and to reinforce the strength of your candidacy .

Good Luck !

Re: Kellogg Full-Time MBA 2008 Applicants - 18-03-2008, 03:58 PM

Got a rather unexpected email from Kellogg last night. I was granted a waiver of alumni interview on the 6th of Jan 2008. I received a mail last night saying that Kellogg had been trying to reach out to me and that this was a final call to schedule a telephonic interview. I checked my Inbox and my junk mail folders and didn't find any communication from Kellogg about the telephonic interview. Found the whole thing a little strange and informed the adcom right away. Anyway, I've scheduled my interview for today. Let's see how it goes. Also, I'm wondering why I've got an interview call so late in the day, considering that there are less than 2 weeks to go for decision day.

Btw, Good luck to fellow R2 applicants. The wait till the 31st is going to be a long one.

Cheers,
Me
