Had my telephonic interview yesterday. Was very much on expected lines

1) Tell me something about your undergraduation?
2) Walk me through your career – after undergrad uptil now
3) Give an example of teamwork and what qualities would you bring to a team
4) Why MBA?
5) Why Kellogg
6) What is unique about you?
7) Have you had any conflicts at work? If yes, how did you deal with it?
Any questions for me?

That’s about it. The whole process lasted for 30 mins.

Now awaiting for the result…..

to answer ur Q about the decision: per the Kellogg status check website-
"
All the required elements of your application are complete.
If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). As the majority of decisions are updated twice a week, we recommend checking the status on Tuesday and Friday, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Please note the majority of decisions will be posted during the last several weeks of the deadline."



Note the last line... last several weeks of deadline: I would figure December 20th-ish....

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application to Kellogg in R1, and i got an interveiw waiver shortly.

Subsequently i guess some of the applicants who did get interveiw waivers have been asked to schedule telephonic interveiws. I know a freind from bangalore who did. I havent got any such thing. and i guess from the update on kellogg website Kellogg School of Management Admissions Process

there will be no more further interveiw assignments for R1 or would they? any idea to what extent this call for interveiw after the initial waiver reflect on one's application progress? I mean if you dont get the call after the waiver, is that effectively a full stop?

Tricky !!!! The language is diplomatic, as always. I know a R2 applicant friend of mine who has been asked to interview the telephonic way. So there is a strong reason to believe that they may have actually wrapped up all R1 interviews -> on-campus, alumni and telephonic.

I think you can get a clearer picture by calling admissions office.

I know someone who got an invite to interview over the telephone just yesterday. His interview is on the 18th of this month, so I defintely don't think that the round 1 train has left the station!
