jawaharnr and others who are applying for r2: note that the file upload size is limited. one of my transcripts (from my UG studies - 7 pages) was 1.5 MB and it did not get uploaded correctly. I received an email today that my application was incomplete. When I called the ad. com. office, I spoke with an officer and I emailed her my transcripts. Ten minutes later, she replied saying my application was complete.

Bottomline: keep the filesize small!
Hi civ_ad,

Yes, I finished my interview sometime back. Please see Page-1 of this thread for my interview experience.

Per the email I got today from my student contact @ Kellogg:
" she should definitely be more excited, because they have chosen to interview her it is because the Adcom is interested. "

Which reconfirms what he mentioned last week. Good luck!!!

Thanks civ_ad. I guess then the decision to interview me was taken after reviewing my file (and not some random selection process )

Thank again for giving me this valuable piece... Will post my interview exp after I finish it...

What he mentioned was that due to heavy application load, they may waive the interview for some people. When they review the file, they feel that the applicant needs to be interviewed. Obviously, this worked for the MMM guy I talked to, so good luck with your interview!

btw- I just got my online status as "application complete". It states that my file will be sent for a review once my interview has been completed. I also read on the BW forums that Kellogg may start releasing admits as early as end of November (I hope this is true!!). So try to schedule your interview ASAP. Monday and Friday are busy days for Kellogg (just called up their office because they needed some info;and the recorded message told me this - thought I would share). , so try to schedule a Tuesday or Wednesday. I would opt for a Wednesday as there are no classes on Wed- maybe an ad. com. student might be able to interview (not that it makes a difference, just increases the chances of an earlier interview).

And DO share your interview experience

Good luck

Can you please tell how to see the online status. If I go to the apply section it still says that application submitted.
