psha_thmey,
Thanks for the reply.
Well, I have no idea about any methods used for converting percentage into grades/GPA. However, 73% is First Class with Distinction and that is the highest class which my university confers. That should help you get a better idea.
I agree with all that you quoted about my profile. I understand it is quite common. Also, it makes it tougher for me as I am an aspirant from India.
Anyway, thanks for your time and help. Really appreciate it.
Congrats once again.
Sunil.

Sunil. | Hey Sunil,
One more thing, I just reread your profile, and I have to admit that you should truly have a story to tell why you need an MBA now! Especially about your NGO involvement!! Does it have anything to do with your decision?
It have to be a great reason that compels you to give 2 years of salary and going back to school ... I think the Ad com will gauge you on that! Whether or not your reasons are worth going back for an MBA!
Voila good luck for everything!!

I am applying to Nanyang 2008. As you said, "declaration of finance" doesn`t matter, they dont really need it... does it mean, we don`t need to submit any bank statements along with the application form ?? does it affect the chances of application being reviewed ?? Did you submit any such document when you sent you application form ?? Please reply soon. I would be waiting for your reply before despatching the docs.
Thank you. CATaholic!!!!

Thank you. | Hey I've submitted everything but the declaration of finance. I was told by the Admission Office that they will only need it later ... as in later once I got my admission offer.
Once you sent in your docs and if they need it I think they will contact you by email to submit the missing docs. They asked me twice to submit a degree scroll, and a photocopy of my passport!!
So far they're very nice and I've been very happy with the reactivity of the admission office at Nanyang!
However you should contact them to make sure ...
Cheers | | | | | | | |

Cheers | Hey Yeah...Right.
I had submitted my application two weeks back and prior to submission, I had mailed to enquire about the Documentary Evidence of financial support. Ms. Estella from NBS had specifically asked me to send the documentation later, if the same is not ready at the moment. However, she did not mention about the document not being mandatory.
I would suggest you to write to the admissions office. You will get a prompt & detailed reply.

Hey Guys/Gals,
Great to see this post and have been following it regularly. However a bit surprised there is no much activity. Does this mean the number of applicant for NTU is less or is it something else?
Congrats psah_thmey on getting an admit. Hope to join u and others. Any other person having an admit?
Anyways I am also interested in applying to NTU. All the best to all the aspirants of NTU.
Regards,
Sudi | | | | | | | |

Hi,
I am an aspirant for the Nanayang MBA programme starting 2008. I will have
about 6 years of IT experience by the time the course starts.
Now, I am not sure which specialization will be good for a person with my
profile. I see 3 courses relevant to my profile - General MBA, Strategy,
Technology. I would appreciate some more insights in these streams so
that I am in a better position to decide.
Also, I would like to know if we can select a particular specialization in the
online application form (Ex: Strategy), and, if selected for the programme,
can we change the specialization (Example : Technology) before
the course starts ? | | | | | | | |
