I was interviewed by David at 10.30 PM(IST). It was a casual discussion. Basic Questions, Why MBA? Why Nanyang? Basic Questions ....... 12 minute interview.

Damn surprising by the way nanyang is giving calls to indians. So far , its just the two of us. I hope we have a decent little contingent going from india.

I am trying to get some information about nanyang.

So far, in terms of the place, faculty & general quality of life i have heard some very good reviews. I am trying to get some information about placements & opportunities. I have a friend in NUS who told me that Nanyang is doing better than NUS in terms of placements & internships. It seems the new CSO that they have got has really changed things in the last 2 years.

She said that now the students are negotiating instead of the companies negotiating. Also, heard that not too many management consulting jobs are available.

I spoke to a person who had gone for an exchange program to Nanyang. He said its a brilliant place to study. Also, the people out there are very nice.

Thts the story so far. Will get some more details gradually. Will keep posting.

Yep, quite fast. I got the email on 18 Apr also - 1 day after interview

Yes, I got it. I am afraid I wont go there. I have confirmed with NUS. However, if there are something better for financial matters from NTU (like a scholarship), I surely will re-consider.

Hi Subramanian_g. U r not alone in this. Even I had my iv around same date and still waiting for result. My GMAT is 720, but my workex is way above others who have made it to Nanyang! So I am even more apprehensive.

Hi All,
I have just received an admit for Nanyang.

I was interviewed on 19th April, Saturday afternoon.

My profile:
Work Ex: 9.5 years IT/Product development(Intl 3.5 years)
GMAT : 700
Acads : Good (IT-BHU)


The interview was pretty relaxed and lasted 20~25 minutes. No surprises there and more or less went on expected lines. I was told I can expect a result within 2 weeks time. But 3 days is 11 days too early!

ATB to those who are waiting.

BTW, I submitted my application on the penultimate day ie 30th March.
