Nanyang application interviews and admits (2008)

I completed my application in Jan last week. My application number stands M08xxx376.

I feel they are doing at random, coz my friend with similar profile as mine submitted his app in dec. He has not recd any call..Also they said they will be doing the intvw in april-may months..

My interviewer told that i can expect a decision in 10 days time...

I've just been interviewed, totally out of nowhere, at nearly 7PM (GMT +7) . Actually, it's more a conversation with Lee Lee. She is very friendly.

Questions are of typical: What are you doing at work? Why MBA and why MBA in finance? What other biz schools you apply for? (my answer: NUS)? Which you choose if you are offered by both? Do you think 2 years of experience enough for MBA?...

I am thinking about scholarships. Was anyone who get admission offered scholarships? Lee Lee told me that my application is too late for most of available scholarships (I submitted application on the deadline). Without financial aid, 16 months will be a big burden for me.

ATB to those who are waiting for the result or havent had an interview.

Here is my profile:

Work Ex: nearly 2 years in Marketing (FMCG)
GPA: high distinction (top 5%)
GMAT: 740, AWA:5.0

Btw, I am from Vietnam.

Total Work Experience - 2 yrs by June 08, 1 yr in Wealth Management, 1 yr in Executive Search
Acads - Average
Extra Currics - Good

Got interviewed on 16th April
Got my admit mail today.
It was very fast.
I was interviewed by David at 10.30 PM(IST). It was a casual discussion. Basic Questions, Why MBA? Why Nanyang? Basic Questions ....... 12 minute interview.

Thanks.... I dont know how good is my profile. All that matters to me is that it got me the admit... i am surely taking it.... Although i am still gonna be doing a lot of research on the school. I know someone out there... so will get in touch sooonn... i heard so far their placements this year have been better than NUS... so lesse

Folks anyone else got any calls? Is there a trend of people with higher GMAT scores getting interviewed as days pass by?
I saw a few 680s and then 710 -->740--> could I be next?
