Re: Oxford 2008 Application and Beyond - 13-06-2008, 07:19 AM

Sorry guys for some odd reason my userid/login wasn't working for over 2 weeks now. I finally went over to "change password" and have gotten in.

What I did not get into however was Said Business School I got the ding letter on 30th of May. That makes it 3 dings in my life (LBS, ISB in 2005 and Said on 2007). I still have some gas in me to apply for IMD and INSEAD next year but you never know

I gave it my best shot but perhaps something to do with the timing of my app, or my profile which they didn't like. No worries! Great things are happening in my life so I am happy for it.

Congratulations to all who got in!! Wish you all the best at Oxford

Cheers,

Arun

Rkenge,

If you have a degree from American/Canadian/Australian/UK universities, you don't need to submit any TOEFL waiver form (I had a degree from the US and I didn't need to submit any form). If you graduate from a Singapore's university, maybe it's wise to check with the admissions team. I know this sounds a bit crazy but not everyone knows English is the official language in Singapore (I was there for 1 year and 1/2 so I know).

Hope it helps.
Hang

All the R4 applicants all the best and lets share our expereinces...

Psychodementia,
Thanks for sharing with us. I believe with all the experience you have gained from this stressful application process, you will definitely get in your dream school next year should you decide to apply again. This bad luck may be a good luck for you, who knows.

Hi topBSchools,

GTC has some accommodation at 25 Wellington Square, which is nearby (I think less than a kilometre). You could enquire with SBS about that!
