Hi Simz

Please don't write any other mail..

May be you could wait for another 3-4 days and then write a mail asking politely about the status of your documents n if they need anything.

hey,
What happened to your ISB result buddy ?

Re: Oxford 2008 Application and Beyond - 29-01-2008, 06:31 PM

Hi guys, I have a question...

Does Said consider students without work experience? The reason I am asking is, I know a person who passed out from college (CUSAT) in 2006, and has got admission in Said for the batch starting 2008. So, he must have had very little, if any, work experience, when he applied. Don't know about the other details of his profile, but the guy is quite intelligent.

I was under the impression that most big foreign B-schools consider only people with at least 2-3 years of quality work experience. Is Said different?

EDIT: Apparently, he worked at Mahindra & Mahindra for over a year. But still, is one year enough for Said?

CAT 2007: 99.31 percentile (1 Call, 0 Converts).

CAT 2008: Work in progress.

Hey mjp..

Said does consider people with no workex.. But the application then has to be exceptional.. My friend applied with 9 months of workex, 710 score and in the third round.. and as u can guess- he got admission.. So a lot depends on the how well the application is written..

btw- y do u ask..???

Sam

Hi Simz-

As quoted by a few fellow second round applicants, we did receive an email from Admissions' Committee representative that our application is complete and under the review. This mail was not an auto-generated mail.

You should get the similar mail soon.

Cheers!
