1 year PGDX program at IIML NC – IPMX - 12-09-2007, 10:21 PM

Hi All! I am starting this new thread to start off our journey for IIML IMPX. This would be the maiden batch from IIML and there are only 40 seats. Guaging by the popularity of IIMA and IIMC PGPX 1 yr programs we can look forward to have some extremely bright guys & gals coming for this offering too. Though absence of family accommodation may one thing which might be a bit of dampener. I welcome all the prospective applicants to this thread and request them to post their short profile also My stats: GMAT: 660 (48/32) Work Ex: 12 Years Background: (Shipping & Midstream / Up stream Oil Industry) Extracurricular: So So Acads: OK ATB Keep Shining

Course Details are available on the IIML NC website http://iimlnc.ac.in/ipmx.php

bit confused about this course.

is this a executive course as similar to pgpx, pgpex ?

or this is a different course ?

what about campus placement opportunity ?

i visited the website and found they have 2008,2009,2010 batch profile !!

what does it mean ? how come 2009,2010 batches come ....i think , they have some bugs in website.

Hi! Please check out this link IIM Lucknow - Noida Campus for all details.
I think you might have checked the IIM Lucknow website. This programme is to be conducted at IIML Noida Centre and is similar to PGPX.

Hi all!

IIML form is pretty crude and not much info is required by them. Any guesses as to what may be the selection criteria for interviews.
More over there is a gap of only 2 weeks between last date of forms and interview short list. I have a feeling like IIMA, IIML is going to place very high emphasis on GMAT.

Hi MKA!

It would be hard to predict. However this is the question which would be on the mind of IIML board too and I think keeping the batch to 40 is one way to restrict the supply and maintain the demand.
IIML has a great Brand equity name at least in India. I think there were something like 300 + offers to IIMA first batch that shows corporate thirst for readymade middle and senior managers. Moreover this would be the maiden batch for IIML and they, for sure, will try and top the IIMA first batch placements.
We can only wait and see where we get placed
