For Those Who Didn't Send Their Scores to IIML PGPX.

Hi All,
I mailed IIML PGPX to enquire about GMAT Score. Here is the conversation.

I want to know whether sending a copy of my GMAT score is sufficient
or I 'must' send the score through GMAC only.

Please note the essential Eligibility Criteria for IPMX Programme 2008.

• <LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 150%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Graduation in any discipline <LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 150%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Full time Post Qualification Managerial/Executive Experience of six years (minimum) as on 31 st March 2008 (it does not includes the training period)
• GMAT Score obtained between 1st January 2004 to 15th December 2007

There is no any type of relaxation on these Criteria.

Your query

If you are having GMAT score card with you, then send it with IPMX application form.
If you are appearing for GMAT and not in a position to submit the GMAT score before the last date (15th December 2007) then it is required to send through GMAC.

Application sent be e-mails would not be considered.

So guys,
if you have not sent the your score to IIML at the time you took the exam, there is no need to pay to GMAC and send the score.
Just send the copy of the official score report along with your application.

Sriram. Is there a way to save the soft copy without the other details. I saw that the fields are all protected and hence wasstruggling to save just the reco pages separately.

Hey just checked the IIML PGPX website.. it has profile of students (for 2008 batch) have the already finalized. As per my knowledge the first batch is going to start in Apr 2008 and admission process is still on. (I think the deadline is mid Dec 2007).

Those profiles are for the IIML-WMP ( Working Manager's Program ) conducted in the same campus. I guess for the students of IMPX-2008, they would have something similiar, and hopefully I pray that my entry be there in that for IMPX-2008 batch

Hi,
As per the requirements at IIM L IPMX programme are we not supposed to submit the graduation transcripts?

Also it is not specifically mentioned how recommendation letters be submitted. For example ISB has clearly mentioned that hard copy reco letter should be submitted in a sealed envelop with signature of recommender across the flaps.

I don't see any such req from IIM L.

One of my recommender is in US. Has anyone tried sending the rec using fax or a scanned copy. I appreciate is those who have successfully used fax/scan to please reply.

Hi Ash

One f my refrees happens to be based out of the UK. I had sent in he sift copy of the IIM app form to him; he was condenscending enough to have typed the reco inputs, and couriering the Ref form sheet separately . The submission process is the same ... The refree has to sign across the Sealed envelope flap.

We are nearing the deadline and it is surprising to see there is not much action here. Would any one here know about the placement stats of IIMC 1st batch PGPEX ...
Not sure how good IIML NC IPMX would be as it is 1st batch, new campus ... just hoping the IIM magic carries on for the new course also.

I have created a database at yahoo-groups for all the applicants who have made up their mind to apply (or have already applied) in IPMX 2008-2009. The idea is to use this information for the benefit of all applicants (in terms of finding out the applicant trend, use it to touch base with people who are short-listed for interview and then eventually are offered a seat, etc.)
