jbanoop, u must start right away and u can do it. 15 days with 2 weekends is a lot of time to target the app. Also, since the essays are not very heavy u can get going with them...

All the best.

I went through all the posts on this thread, and about 75-80% of the profiles are:

- Work Ex: IT 3-5 years
- GMAT: 700-730

It will be interesting to see how Darden is going to shortlist candidates, and of course I join the list

- GMAT: 720/5.5
- Work Ex: IT, 4 years by Aug 2008
- Acad: Avg
- EC: Good
- Applying in R1

Apply in R2. Don't apply in haste and make a mess of it.

Re: Darden in 2008 - 22-10-2007, 09:16 PM

The date for final submission of R1 is closing in... Its a race against time in all senses for me...

My stats:

Male - 31yrs
GMAT - 700
Acads - Ok
Extra@College - Good
Extra after College - Average
Comm service - Good
Work Ex - 8 (4 in IT, 4 in Tech Consulting with 2 yrs in US)

Anxious due to low GMAT and the fact that I may be on the wrong side of average age...

Question Re: Darden in 2008 - 22-10-2007, 10:19 PM

Hi Puys,

I need some help regarding the filling of the transcripts form. I have some doubts and questions regarding that. It would be great if anyone of you guys can help me out with this..
Actually my university awards credits (not credit hours) for a course...So do i mention the credit hours using my own discretion?? Also the marks awarded to the lab/practicals are not the same as tha marks awarded to a subject..so how do i fill in these details in the same table.. Do i make a note above and write lab marks using asterix..

I am not sure if i am supposed to be tampering with the sheet they have provided.. Have written in to the Adcoms of Darden regd this, but havent got any update as yet..Would be really helpful if one of u shows me his/her transcript form. Just PM me ur mail address and i'll get back asap.

Thanks a ton!!! All d best with your applications...

Btw my brief profile:

Work Ex: 2 yrs
GMAT: 750 / AWA 5.0
Excellent acads/ decent extracurriculars
applying to Darden in R1...the transcript is the last thing left to be done...

Cheers,
Akx

Exclamation Re: Darden in 2008 - 25-10-2007, 03:39 AM

Hi PGs,

Has anyone had a look at the Darden transcripts template? It is pretty odd and not at all easy to fill in if you are from a Uni that doesnt follow the GPA stuff.....its gonna be a nightmare filling this in. Any thoughts on how others have done it? Ang general advise/suggestions? Many thanks.

Regards,
- TTB
