Hey Guys ,
I got the below mail from the admissions counsellor :
"You need to check your evaluation status on our website. We do not send out individual mails - only offer lettrs are emailed.
This has been clearly mentioned in the call letter."
Does that mean we need to check on the website about our status and that individual mails won't be sent across ? Regards, Coolest

Look at the post by Monty....some posts above..........he also applied for IB, but given an option of SMM/WM.......from SPJ...
But i feel, that spj is doing not this because IB/IT are in demand..............Its because of the student's profile, they are offering this.............They are intellingent enough to guide us.............thats my belief after seeing this.............People may have different views on this.... If You WIN, U not need to EXPLAIN........... BUT, If You LOOSE, U should NOT be there to EXPLAIN...!

Understand the scenario dost.....IB and IT fields are in demand..public is going for these streams.
WM, SMM and even this time HRM are not demanding as other streams.
I would say they may reject you if you donot accept SMM bcos it seems that your prefered stream is filled by others. This is my personal opinion.
SMM is not at all bad....please go ahead and accept the same if you are through with the selection of SPJAIN as your dream college.
Moreover my understanding says it has nothing to do with your work ex...
ATB for your decission.. | Dear Nonrulz,
I differ with your opinion that there is no connection between work ex and specialization... the real meaning of doing MBA esp. one year MBAs is to leverage the work experiance what you have.. unless and other wise you need to change your verticals... and dont select specialisation by the market demand.. think of the roles and what you can contribute to it... SPJ would have thot that it is easy to place the candidate and he will be able to leverage the experiance he has .. other wise he will have to start afresh and the experiance he has will be of no use.. whether you study SMM or WM or for that matter any course after 10 ~15 years it is all about General Management... The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.........
