Hi Keerthi,
Let me quickly ans ure queries ...
1--> The process is pretty much the same as for the other specializations. You may be asked some work ex related qn in ure interview .... specific to IT ... but that cannot be said for sure ... it depends on the panel ..
2--> the faculty are very good ... top faculty from various colleges such as the IIMs, SPJIMR etc are d the ones who come.
3--> U can get the detailed info abt the current batch from the spjcm website ...

AM. | Hi AM,
It is not really possible to define the exact role one would get. But as u mentioned, BD/BA/PM etc are all possibilities and u wud have the opportunity to choose one of them during ure placements. Purely depends on wat u wanna do and how u present ureself during ure interview ... the job profiles are not restricted to the course per se ...

Hi,
I'm not taking any of the exams like CAT, GMAT, XAT. But want to appear for SP Jain's conducted Aptitude Test on 30th September for Jan '08 intake.
Can you pls elaborate on what type of questions are asked? Are they of CAT level or SNAP level. How many sections are there?
My academics are not that strong. How can it be overcomed and make my application worth for selection?
Thanks n regards,

Hi!..
This is Priyanka. I did B.Sc(IT) and currently have 1 yr of exp..Planning to take admission in June 2008 intake. by that time will have 1.5 yrs of experience. I already have XAT 2006 score. Their website says that any of the CAT/XAT/GMAT score of last 3 yrs are valid for GMBA. Is it true??..This XAT 2006 score will be valid for June 2008 and Jan 2009 intake??..
What abt loan and visa..
I guess its done by SP Jain itself but do they ask for varoius documents like security etc..and to show some liquidity assets etc???..

Please do reply | Hi Priyanka,
Technically ure XAT score shud b valid, but let me check with someone and get back to u on this ... I am not very sure as the admission process is handled in Mumbai ...
Alternatively, u have an option of writing the SPJAT (SP Jain Aptitude Test) ...
Reg,
Loan - the college has a tie up with some banks such as Indian bank and wud facilitate ure loan requirements ... alternatively u can take ure own loan ... for which .. depending on the bank and the loan amnt, u wud need to give a collateral ... that varies ...
Visa - dont bother ... the college takes care of ure visa ... its included in ure fees ... u have nothing to worry abt that ...
I shall get back to u when I have further concrete answers ...

MJ | Appreciate for quick reply..
One more question. Regarding visa mine is just one concern. Do I need to ask my father to collect some liquid assests or LIC papers from my relatives to give college ppl to show in visa process????
And as soon as you confirm abt the admission based on last 2 - 3 yrs score let me know... | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
