Hi,

I have been shortlisted for the evaluation process. I live in NY, US and they said they will conduct the evaluation process here. I was given the following as the evaluation processes that will be followed:

1. Case study/Essay
2. Group interview
3. Group discussion
4. Personal interview.

Do they really ask us to go thru all these or is it optional?
Kindly explain what are the things that we have to go thru in evaluation process and some tips to handle them.

Thanks,
MFM.

Hi MFM,

yes you will have to go through the entire evaluation process.

all the rounds unless they have a change of mind.

Also, try to read this entire thread to figure out what actually each round is all about.

Thanks

Hi Seniors,

Thanx a lot for taking time off from your busy schedule and responding to our queries !!

I am sure the December Placements would have started by now !! Can any one of you through lights on them..

1. What has been the highest and lowest package for India streamwise?

2. What has been the highest and lowest package for Singapore and Dubai streamwise?

3. Has any student got multiple offers? If yes, how many?(as from what I know in SPJCM if u sit for a placement and get selected u cannot sit for any other company.)

Thanx in advance

Hi Sandhya,

this is very genuin question U have asked ,at India we think of Dubai for everything other than studies...and wen u about take such a imp decision of ur life that is going for MBA and thats too in a city u r not very clear about it ... its tough to decide

from my personal exp. i m telling Dubai is a very Cosmopletin city here u get a lot of chance of learn thru society and from the dubai market... which is very well mature for Finance and Marketing stuffs..

Hi Thirstyearth,

What are the figures that have been updated on the net with the highest salary being 57 Lacs in INR for an international placement in the IT stream.

The website also says that the batch was 100% placed with an average salary of 11 Lacs.

Is it worth the investment? If we plan to take up a loan or something for the fees payment, will we be able to repay with the jobs we get out there?

For which batch is that ?

Thanks

Hi,

Could you explain about the evaluation procedure and what is expected in it?
Do they ask us to write an impromptu essay or CS???
Do they have both group interview and personal interview??

Thanks,
MFM

Anupam\Ashish\All
I don't think placement figures can be provided even by cur students at this time. The figures are still confusing for placement and i am sure individual official breakup (India/SG/DXB wise) cannot be provided by anyone. All we can request fromt the current batch is to provide the unofficial breakup (i am very much sure insti will npt release them this yr as well) after the entire process is over.

don't go in the highest sal of 57L, chap is based in US and this includes(bonus+acc+perks+sal+commision- if he performs) thats wat i came to know frm a friend of mine who studied with this guy.

all i am saying is do not apply for these figures
see the big picture course structure is cutting edge, faculty is just awesome, global exposure of dubai and sg, brand name of SPJ, finally most of the blue chip companies visit the campus so it boils down to you

currently as a policy you can only sit get selected for ONE company, but ppl have got some excellant lateral offers before placements

I have accepted this offer looking beyond the placements thinking the long term prespective.

Cur. students can comment on this

Cheers
