first of all a hearty congratulations for ur admit. i m planning to apply for the next round of evaluations. it would be really helpful if u could share ur entire evaluation experience. what all case studies were asked, gd topic and experience , interview session etc. the more the detailed the better. thanking you in advance.

No prblms,
i wantd to know bout the dec intake,is it creating prblms in getting companies their,i know placements are bit far away,but u guys must have sm idea.
Also i have got thru in IB ,being from IT i dnt have much exposure in finance,as GMBA is a one year course,is it advisable to get some basic knowledge of accounting and stuff,or the curiculum is exhaustive engh.It would be great if you could tell the appox no of students that were from non finance field in the current IB batch.

The entire evaluation process was really cool,dnt knw about the results though!1.Here is my evaluation exprience.
First u will get to write esaays on two topics, leadership exprience,and innovative solution you engineered.(i think their are 5-10 essys topic and they get repeated,go thru some more experiences)
Then their is a case study,mine was- how to stop family business frm breaking.
Then you go in for a gd,topics are cool and relevant.You will get time to speak in GD so be sure what to speak,also be a gud listner.
Then everyone goes in for a panel interview,their u have to be confidnt,be sure why are u chsing the particular stream,and be ready to explain things u have written in your application.
Panel interview is a elimination round,some selected ppl go thru for a interview with director,it is very casual chat.
Vaise, i dunno know how many actually make it even after interview with director,so give everything you best shot.

Dear Ankit,
SPJ ll provide u best faculty inthe market with a right environment.. now it is up to u how much u ll explore it... in current batch 40% ppl are from IT back ground but we all are becoming comfertable with the time...

some basic knowledge always help before starting any thing .. My advice go for NCFM certification it ll give u a flair for finance ..yes do read about accountings that ll certainly help..

placements starting from last week of OCT. so cat say anything now
