Hi All,

I got the offer letter from adcom for the Jan Intake in WM. due to severla reasons, im differing the admission to June.

PPl who have differed their admns, what all needs to be done post differing? below enuf? or more?

1) Send acceptance letter with separate letter for requst to differ
2) send DD in USD for 2500
3) Send background check document

Anything else?

Dear All ,

I got the Offer Letter for Jan2008 intake last evening. I have been offered IB.

During the PI and Director Interview , I was conveyed that its very tough to get an admission into IB from my background (B.E. - Production Engg , then 2.5 yrs in ERP Consulting (PwC , IBM) .

Was very skeptical about my chances. So dear puys , dont hesitate to apply for IB / WM / BM even if u have no finance background . What u need to show the profs is ur acumen for an MBA - Finance.

Well i am wondering if there will be any increase in the Fee for June 08 intake? Any idea dude?

Got an admit for GLM but planning to defer till june
Profile 2.5 yrs exp in IT working in ERP so that helped me get it
B.E in computer Mumbai univ distinction
12th 83%
10th 85%

TODAY i called Sp jain admission office. Lady there told me that they will update the website in next 1-2 days........ It's already too late... This is called MANAGEMENT.........

How's the climate in Dubai do we need to carry warm clothing ?

right now its cold out there so it is advisable to carry ur warmm clothing

Is there any provision of making ISD/local calls from our premises or from somewhere in vicinity ?

u can make ISD call thru ur cell or thru any net based callin card (yahoo,VOIP)

Are we supposed to carry bed sheets.... etc ?
college will provide u new bed sheet and blanket but it is advisable ti get a single bed sheet it ll help u (this aplicable to both Dubai Singapore).

How about washing clothes , as in singapore even in Dubai do we have coin operated machines ?
In dubai every room has their own front loadin washin Mcn which is absolutly free

What's the college attire like ?

normaly casuals Jeans ,T-shirt on some occasion u need to be dressed in formals
Any thoughts on the Food ? Should we be carrying something in that regard ?
Food is good in Dubai My suggestion is carry some cooked stuff for atleast two days as u have ur own freez in the room u can keep these stuff and eat using ur Microwave
