Huh!! this wait is killing me.
I had my eval on 25 , went upto the last round with Dir. No news till now
Everything went fine except the last Dir round , somehow i felt he was not impressed with me.
IT/3.5 yrs exp/ ..
he asked me about the kind of job profile i m looking post MBA , I said Business dev & he thought i should have appllied for marketing instead of IT. I did try n reason out why IT.
Pata nahi kya hoga!!
neways , I would like to thank all the guys who have been so proactive in answering our queries!
All the best for the results.
A!

Well let me say this clear "I am happy with the college in terms of faculty and the program" but not at all happy with the placement : I am a student who is already placed so please dont consider this as frustration rather i would want each one to know the reality.... Placement here has been very very bad. Today is day 5 of our placement in the college and for the last five days we have one company or may be two and so on. Till date we have 48 students to be placed in a batch of 75 here in singapore. The rest 27 students who are placed are not like their dream companies..well as of now a chunk is placed in IT and rest few in logistics company. No doubt pay has been better...but if u atleast think of profile pls dont think twice ... Today the head of the college Nitish Jain is in campus 9 in the morning till 5 in the evening trying to save the image of the college. In all other colleges placements within day 0 day 1 day 2 is over ..here it started with day 1 23 students and day 2 two and day three 0 and day 4 0 and day 5 ..2.... The marketing students has hardly 1 to two companies that too which is not confirmed as of now... The picture in dubai is also no different may be better....30 students yet to be placed...not much info about that... but here it is clear that the placom has done its best and college has NOT DONE ITS BEST with few staffs assigned and they resign new one come another resign new one comes...so at the end we are praying NITISH JAIN brings some miracle place 50 student and then next year could say 100% placement... WHAT I SAID HERE IS THE TRUTH NO BATCH MATES OF MINE CAN not disagree... MY DEAR FRIENDS SALARY IS NOT THE END ...AAA company only u will know when recruited will pay 12000 AED but are u ready.... Dunno what to say or think.. Anybody any comments STATEMENT 2 :

Hi
I think you better go throgh the spjaindubai.org
See the placement statistics out there.......
These are official figures and will eliminate ur doubts....
More to add here is....today when any xyz college provides so called 100% placement without telling the quality of it, SP Jain is such a big brand name where students quit offer for the profile of their choice......they merely, don't accept offers for the sake of it.....
I think you would agree with this.... Follow the speed of Light, and you WIN all races | | | | | | | |

Hi
I got the admit letter for GSCM for jan intake. I am contemplating whether to take it up or postpone it or even go for the june intake. the Deferrment is again a non refundable deposti of one lakh. not too sure what to do next as i am giving my GMAT in Jan. Can anybody tell me if refusing the admission and applyign again for the june batch would have any effect on the evaluation process for the next batch.
cheers

shwetha | College authorities say ...it wont
But whats the effect behind the scene ...nobody knows.
But I don't think it will harm ur chances for June batch as long
as u make sure u have a convincing reason to have done so..
