Hi everyone,
I will be applying to AIM for May 2009 in take. I had a couple of queries. Hoping some of the current students can answer them
1. Is there any real advantage between the May intake and the one in Sep?
2. What is the batch intake and what is the percentage of Indian students in a batch. Is it a virtual coup by us or have they capped the Indian applicants just like NUS and NTU have

hi!
If you planning to apply to AIM (in 2009) through the AIMAT channel, then you need to wait till Dec (I guess AIMAT is always held in Dec). I can assure you (based on my Dec 2007 AIMAT experience) that this would be one of the easiest paper you would ever encounter w.r.t. the other MBA exam papers. and you can be cool about it. (In case you have scored around 600 in GMAT then you can apply through your GMAT scores, I guess now they have started accepting scores > 550, but I am yet to find anyone selected in AIM who has scored less than 600).
For admission in 2008.......I guess you have missed the bus. And all you can do is to wait for the Sept/Oct when the application process will start again (for 2009), and then apply through whatever channel you wish (GMAT/AIMAT/XAT).
Hope this is useful to you.
Thanks & Regards
