Hey
I'm Rama planning to pursue a Masters in Finance in Australia
.
Well agree tht its hard to get a PR in Aus but according to the new immigration system. People whove completed a two year course get a work permit for 18 months .

Hi Joshna,

he is probaly talking of the Group of eight top universities in australia..(check www.go8.edu.au) they are good but the best 2 australian univs are by far MBS(Melbourne business school) and AGSM. only these univs ask for GMAT among australian univs. So you can guess about their reputation when compared among other australian univs... if you ask me if your planning to do MBA in australia.. these are the best 2 picks...

Thanks
Anish

no problem.. my pleasure.... hmm uni of adel is ok kind of univ... but my suggestion would be for you is give your GMAT... and if your looking at Non US colls.. the ones you have mentioned are definitely among the top... in fact among asia pacific.. they are very recognized... the 2 austrlian univs actually come in the top 60 or 70... my uncle stays in sydny and he is a MBA graduate and has been there for the last 18 yrs... he says apart from these two univs doing an MBA in austrlia is a little risky... obviously if your good.. you needent worry.. but the point is you have better opprtunities in these 2 univs compared to others.... even i am giving my gmat in jan.. in fact jan6th is my date.. and i am targetting these two univs... one more thing is if you pass out from these two univs you get a direct HSMP visa.. which is the work permit of UK.. so you can also work in UK... also these univs have brilliant exchange programs.. what kind of a profile do you have?? if you need any more details.. do let me know

That was helpful..
What is the kind of profile that Melbourne business school looks for from his candidates? What is the gmat score that is required? Can u please guide us thru this?
