4) Wait for the school's response.. Depending on the school's admission process you will either get an inetrview call/ rejection (i hope not) or a direct admission.. In 99.99999% cases itll be an interview call.. I cant recall any school I know that gives u a direct admission (MBS does i think)

5) INTERVIEW..

6) Wait for results..

7) Hopefully if u get a postive response, and may be more than one positive response, then u get to select which school u wanna go to.. and then begins another process of arranging finances, visa, etc etc etc..

Hi, I am another one of those newbies. Please clarify one point. Are these interviews for International Students as well. And if yes, then whats the mode? Are the interviews telephonic in nature? I guess yes...
Plus, advice me about which colleges to apply. I got a GMAT score of 760..

It's a good score to start with....For interview,yes telephonic interviews are there but one or two schools (for e.g. INSEAD) conduct interviews in India....you go to the top colleges or as per your choice and see the respective websites of these schools and get an idea about the student profiles. Most of the big schools do reveal about their students' profile which include GMAT score, work ex etc....

I plan to pursue a career in MBA Finance preferably with a one year program. Will like to know the colleges in US, UK and India which are known for Finance course. Also which colleges provide one year Full time MBA program apart from ISB and Great Lake.

Also what type of GMAT score will be required for each college.

the 2nd round deadline for applying to ISB is November 15th.. So u sud finish ur GMAT by 15th Oct to have around a months time to work on ur apps.. also just in case u FCUK up ur GMAT u will have around 20-25 days to prepare and reappear for it (while simultaneaously working on ur apps)..
