Just one query... Experience which was strong point for us at IIMA won,t it be negative at ISB considering avg profile of the candidates at ISB.
I think all B school looks for better exp. Though the importance for certain criteria might be different. If its not positive, it certainly is not negative.

It appears IIm is trying to sell their program to global audience thats why so called focus on international exposure, one question apart from people who work in IT which caters to clients outside india primarily US and Europe who else would have international exposure,i beleive very few unless you have gone for MS in US ....

GMAT this year they have surprised everybody with avg of say 720+............and they have the luxury to choose as out of 1300 applications they need to finalize 80 people......

So do not fret over IIM A ,give best shot to ISB and then take call........So rise from ashes and say loudly......................Chak de India......

The only other closest choice I could find was 'accounting/tax/commercial/control'. But the latter to me seems like wht an audit firm person should choose.

Pls clarify.

Those have already filled the application with BPO work exp...can you pls let me know.

thnx

I just went thru this last year and I can understand anxieties. On your profile, so far so good. Ensure that your essays are good so that you move on to the interview stage.

Re: ISB 2008 - Interviews and Admits - 12-09-2007, 03:43 AM

Hello all,

I checked the FAQ but it did not address my questions.

1) I did a full-time summer internship for 12 weeks after my 3rd year (before graduation). It was not part of my academic program. Should that be included in my total work experience?

2) I received a diploma in Indian classical music in grade 9 (outside high school). Can I upload the diploma certificate under Additional Degrees?

Thanks!
