IMD, Lausanne admit taking questions

My IMD MBA pursuit came to a grinding halt today with the ding letter from Lisa. Pretty disappointed. I felt that my profile fit IMD well... but looks like it didn't.

Congratulations! Am looking at applying to IMD's August 1st deadline. any tips/ suggestions?
I have lots of questions so maybe you could gimme an email id.

Hi Guys,

Really invaluable posts for IMD. You guys are really great folks. You kindled my ambition to go for IMD. IMD has been my favourite for last couple of years. I am postponing my decission to go for it as i am doing well in my career but now i think the time has arrived to take a giant leap not baby steps..

Other schools i am thinking of are:

1. IIMA/C PGPX
2. Haas
3. London School of Business
4. Stanford and Wharton

Would appreciate if somebody helps me in knowing my chances to get an admit from IMD 2010-11 session. or any other school in my list (i am sure you guys must have applied there)

But IMD is my first preference

Brief Profile:

1. 8+ years of experience in IT and also have worked as sales engineer for couple of years
2. 6+ Years as CRM or Business Intelligence analyst
3. 2.5 years of International experience - all in Europe
4. Currently working for a fortune 500 in Europe
5. Writing GMAT in feb 2009
6. BTech in Electrical Engg with 6.61 in 10 point scale - not very good acad
7. Done bit of extra curricular activities with an NGO

Dear IMDians, What's your take on my profile? i have already mailed my profile to the Adcom for an assesment and they have come back with some positive remarks.

I would also request you guys to comment on the following

1. What would be a safe GMAT score - Just started my GMAT and I am ticking 650+now (writing exam in Feb)
2. I have a real good rapo with my ex employers management team but i don't know whom to appraoch as i have changed jobs frequently (average 1.5 years)
3. I read it from IMD site that they can only sponsor 65K CHF as loan, how did you guys manage your expenses ($100K?) i believe some of you must have gone for loans.
