Hello Mates,
I request your comments on the options i have for Fall 2007 MBA.
GISMA Business School, Germany (Purdue University's Germany Campus)
================================================
Duration: 11 Months
Scholarship: 45% Tution Waiver + $5000 USD Company SCholarship from Daimler Crysler
Remaining Fee: 5.52 Lakh (Total Expenses including study abroad, living & housing: 10-12 Lakh)
Students will be awarded 2 degrees, one from krannert school of management and the other from GISMA.
But, as my priority is to land up a good job in US. So, i m confused whether to take up this option or not.
University Of San Diego Business SChool, California
=================================
Duration: 16 Months
Scholarship: $25k Dean's Merit Scholarship for 2007-2008 + GA (excluding first semester) + Will be considered for other scholarships for furthur academic terms.
But, this is a newly started MBA program (in Fall 2006) by USD so didn't get much information on this. In case you have any information on USD's Full-Time MBA program, please share your comments.
Santa Clara University, California (Evening MBA)
===============================
Expecting an offer, still not sure. (No Scholarships)
My Profile:
=======
GMAT: 670 (Q:49,V:32)/AWA: 5.0
TOEFL: 106
Qualification: B.E (Computer Science & Engineering) / VTU, Karnataka, India
Work Exp: ~3 Years (2004 Passout)
Acads: Good (FCD)
Extra Currics: Good/NGO
International Exp: Nil
I applied to many reputed schools in Round 2/3 in US but couldn't get a offer for this fall.
What would you suggest, should i take up these options at the moment or wait for an year and apply early to US B-Schools.
PS: Moderators, i am not comparing the schools. Just collecting information and invaluable comments from my fellow PGites.
I request you to please pour in your suggestions/comments. Cheers !!!! Mandeep ====================================== ........ Life Sucks Till death......

Did you see the recruiting companies in that campus and any of them are consulting companies?

At least at GISMA, there is no campus placements, you have to find jobs on your own. All the career services will do is help you. That is what I know so far.
But I think this is the case in many schools. I don't have any idea how easy/difficult it is to find a job though!
Also, as far as I know you won't get two degrees, only one. In that both school names will be there.
