Rinku ji - Columbia is different and its located in a financial hub with all the banks and consulting companies who sponsor H1's. I want to hear from students in schools beyond top 15 (say), and where there are other kind of companies coming on campus (non-IB & non-top tier MC). Quote:

Go Ahead and apply guys. Don't worry.

Not to sound like a doomsdayer, but someone sent me this BW thread where it talks about the visa problems too - there are folks from some top US schools reporting there as well. BW B-Schools

Well, MBA recruitment has been too good for the last two years. Things certainly won't be as good a couple years from now, when I'll be on the lookout for jobs (I'm aspiring for 2008 admissions). Storm Clouds on the Job Hunt Horizon
But still, it's now or never for me because of personal reasons so I will go ahead.

I could speak for Chicago GSB.
In my opinion, nothing really has changed at GSB. Most second year intl students have offers from companies. People who were not extended offers, failed to do so because of either genuine issues. With respect to first year recruitment, companies are recruiting full steam, as usual. The companies that were open to recruiting intl students are still doing the same, and the opposite case is true too.
I wudnt sweat too much on this. | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to iday For This Useful Post:

Iday - I wouldn't sweat too much on top 10-15 schools either - I think the point we talked earlier was for schools ranked lower. Quote:
