Cost Details The greatest Stopper - 12-05-2007, 11:38 PM

Hi

I am trying my best to get info on mba abroad,
I have met a deadend in this cost matter.

I am thinking of doing my mba abroad but i have the following questions
I hope you ppl can help me out here

1)I heard that it requires 35 to 40 lakhs to complete mba from USA,Australia
or Canada,I feel that it is costly but considering we take a loan ,IS IT WORTH THE
MONEY,Will we be able to pay it back????

2)I heard of different types of univs (First tier,2nd tier etc...) in USA .I know that
the first tier is for the ultra rich and is very very difficult to get into. From wat I understand from the forums i read ,It is going to take a lot of time to repay the loans

3)I have heard that there are mid tier or lower tiers univs and the fees in these univs are less ,Is doing mba from a mid or lower tier for less cost ,Will it compromise on quality(i.e hinder our chances of getting a job)

4)wat about scloarship is there no scope for it at all??(In mid or lower tier univs)
wat do u think it is based on??(is there a possiblity to get a scolarship from a lower tier univ ?,if so is it worth to go for it considering job oppurtunities that we get after it (provided one evens gets a scolarship it)

5)i also heard there a state univs that have a less fees can u please eloborate on thos(is it worth going to).Can anyone provide me with a list of such state univs and their criteria
for selection,How much it will cost?,List of the univs in the order of their rankings

6)I heard of 1yr mba in UK which is cheaper compared to US,Is it a good option,There are many attractive schemes that are given out like 1 yr we can stay xtra in UK and search for a job,Wat are u r arguments on it

7)Please tel me abt mba in other countries and more info on cost details and job oppurtunites in countries like UK,Canada,Australia

Is there no way doing mba abroad without spending 35 to 40 lakhs?????????????

Hope you ppl could clear the confusion

Thanks in Advance
