I dont think any of us will hear before next week. A few that heard back either:
1. applied real early
2. asked for a decision as they were holding offers from other programs.

I was just checking the # of us waiting for the final results and quickly compiled a list below of people who interviewed already ...(you can see that productivity has dipped .. )

So that makes about 10 of us waiting for Round 1 results. Assuming there's betwen 30-50% chance of admit post interviews, at least 3-5 of us should be getting in.

Also, I was reading in an INSEAD admit's post where it was said that the Sept 2007 intake has 50+ Indians (53 i think). So, assuming that in this Jan session they take in approximately 20 (Round 1) + 20 (Round 2) + 10 (Round 3), we could probably account for 1/2 of the Round 1 admits. So, we can say approximately 50% of Indian (or PIO) applicants to INSEAD hang out here at PG. Of course these are just #s and in reality anything can happen....anyone got any more stats ??

heard from an adcom staff that 60% of the interviewed applicants get admits...
13% of the total admits are to Indians....
maybe all of us make it???!!!

Hey guys,

have applied for round 2. was going through the posts and almost felt the tension on the 11th May posts. Congratulations to all of you who were selected for R1 interviews and good luck with the final calls.
I have also found this thread to be very informative as I am waiting too...the "dreaded", "deadly", "interminable" wait.
If there are any other R2 applicants, good luck to you as well!

Does INSEAD take people with no international experience? I will have a pretty decently diverse profile (basically manufacturing exp, start-up exp, management consulting etc and non IT) for an Indian.

Do they consider such candidatures?

I dont think international experience is a must, but it certainly helps if you have it. Otherwise you will need to execute well in all other areas of your application and certainly justify that you are committed to an international career after MBA...basically why you want to go to INSEAD?

heard from users on another forum ...who called that all results will eb released on 29th. i've gone insane...to the point that i cant think rationally in any thing i do these days
