Schulich MBA Info 4 u - 07-03-2007, 04:30 AM

Guys I live in Toronto so i'll give u some info on schulich.

As far as being a good business school, this is false. It recently droped to 49th position worldwide (Rotman in toronto ranked 27th, Western Ivy also ranked higher than schulich). Therefore it is ranked 3rd in Canada. Secondly, as far as being multicultural, this is also false. If you are jewish then you have a good time, if not i suggest choosing a different university. As an example, whenever there is a jewish holiday it is the only university that is closed.

I did my undergrad at Rotman and I can say it is very hard, but you will definitely make more money and get jobs easier afterwards. Schulichs ranking as far as salaries is very very low. (check ft.com for 2007 World MBA rankings). It seems as if everyone has high GMAT scores and GPA's, i suggest Rotman or Ivy in Canada (Ivy is a 1 year mba) or the top US schools. Stay away from schulich. My two cents.
