NUS or ISB WHICH TO CHOOSE?

I have got thru ISB and NUS both. which is a better option to join? Any info is welcome

first of all such B school comparison threads are NOT allowed on PG. secondly, you did no write anything about urself; your profile, future aspirations etc and you expect people to give advice out of the blue !!!

You would be best served by going back to the reasons why you applied to both these schools in the first place. Which was your first choice then? Has anything changed in the time since? Have you heard/seen/been told anything new that might push one school over the other? Have your aspirations changed/are they better defined now?

Think about all these factors(and tons more, but I'm too lazy to talk about them all). Make a list. Evaluate potential ROI. Evaluate potential standard of life. Bascially, there's no right answer. Go to the school which you love more.

congrats dood. you have asked if u wanna pick Aish or Sush
close your eyes and run towards ISB. they probably cost more or less the same, but ISB has a shining future. I also think it is probably tougher to get into ISB, and the course also would be tougher. Some of the best profs teach there. Placements will be the dreamy ones. It has the backing of like the who's who. And it's in apna desh. It has some great xchange pgms as well.

I had posted that message in a bit of hurry as I had to pay the acceptance fees of either school. So there was no concrete info I gave.

Many of you had queries-->

1. Background--> I had score of 710 in GMAT and 3.5 years of IT experience but I have a lot of National and International level prizes. So they made the chances higher.

2. No personal finances. I have already applied for a loan today.

Anyways, I have already accpted ISB offer.

Its all personal perspective but in my opinion

go for NUS anyday it has a stupendous brand name across the world better than that of isb also nus has more alumni and networking contacts + u get an idea for foreign edu its a plus pt on your resume better than just an exchange program

ISB is good if u want to stay in india and target india specific placements because with Nus there are less chances of u being placed in india.
