Babson MBA -- any acceptances

My suggestions:

1. Retake the GMAT (focus on the OG, and the verbal section)
2. See if you can take some quant-based courses, such as those in eco or stats
3. Apply way early - R1 is a must!

Hi Jack,

I am an R2 Applicant for Babson and had my interview recently and was told by the interviewer (a senior admissions director) that the results will be starting out by 19th March. Could you please clarify how Babson notifies the results (email or post or both) and is it strictly according to the dates on the website (R2 result on website is 30th March)

About weather you should accept or not.... well you have to see if what Babson offers matches what you are looking for? Questions like , what is it that you want from your MBA program, why did you apply to Babson, what do you want to do after your graduation will help me or someone help you better.

26-M-Indian
Gmat 610
2.5 years full time XP
Applied to the 2 year program and am currently on the waiting list.

Babson's main strength is entrepreneurship, I don't know how good they are for investment banking. You could ask the admissions committee to get you in touch with a current student who also wants to go into ibanking or you could ask them to help you locate and alumni in India, I am sure they will be very helpful.

I also have a admit from Babson. After talking to students and professor i realized that this year Indian pool is really very strong and many indian got an admit in babson which is not usual.

With ur score and exp u managed to got some schol also. Great!! do definately impressed adcom

I would suggest you to talk current students. Mail to adcom and ask them for current Indian students email address and they will help you.
