Hi All,

I got waitlisted without an interview. I had applied for the 15th November deadline. I am confused, don't know if this is a good thing or bad. What is the meaning of this?
Is there anyone on the same boat as I am? Any inputs would help guys. Thanks.

Hi,

I too applied for the round 1. I got an interview call from babson last thursday, I appeared for a personal interview in their campus on friday ( I live 10 miles away from Babson).
I am keeping my fingers crossed for the results.

Did u call the adcom. They might give you some useful feedback. As far as I understand, they are very interactive. By the way, may I know your profile?

So your decision is not out yet? It should have on the 15th January. Check your my babson portal again. They didn't send me an email about my waitlisted status either.

Will try contacting the adcom. My profile is not great. GMAT - 660. Work Ex - 2 years by the time the course starts.

Hi all,
I applied to Babson in R2, Jan 15th. I had an interview last week and it went well. I live a few miles away from the school so I interviewed on campus. The interview was conducted by a first year student who offered a great deal of perspective about the program and his experiences at Babson. Any idea when I should expect an update regarding my status? Has anyone heard from adcomm? I keep checking the Babson portal but I don't see any updates. I'm a little unsure of contacting adcomm, any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi NasQB112,

I had my interview on Jan 23 and I haven't got my decision yet. By the way, on thursday they had a Women's meet and I attended the event. It was an oppurtunity to meet current women students, alumni, adcom committe and other female applicants. It was a good oppurtunity to learn about Babson.

By the way, what the adcom told me is I will get my decision soon but I din't get any information as to when I will get it. I have been checking my account every minute since I had my interview

I think we should stay in touch and update each other of any further progress. Where do you live in Boston?

I wanted to share my interview experience, hoping it will help some other applicants. The on-campus interview went well and was quite insightful. I spoke with a 1st year student. He was very nice and shared many different experiences he had at Babson. He asked the standard questions of Why Babson, why an mba and why now, what can you contribute to Babson, and what do you consider as success. At the end, I asked several questions about the school varying from employment opportunities to social life. I was prepared and felt very relaxed throughout the whole process. I keep checking the my babson portal, hoping for an update! We should keep in touch and share any info we get on updates regarding application status.

I am one of the waitlisted candidates and have been waiting for an update for almost a month now.
Last night I called them up and was able to speak with Jennifer. She told me tht there would be a result out for the waitlisted candidates before 30th March. She also said there was a definate increase in number of applications this year.

Hope some of u might find this info useful.
