i have also applied to Broad and still haven't received any mail from them.

Submitted Online Application on 4th JAN and had my interview on 13th Feb.

I am tensed now...as i was expecting from them...but still not received any communicatioon from their side.

Should i call Admissions Office and enquire about the same...?????

Thanks .. Mandeep ..My friend ( Score 720 , 6 yr exp ) have also not got the mail ..I suggets wait till tom ( Feb 23 is the last date for decision as per them ) and then call them tom night. ...Most probably you will get one .. Have you checked the online portal by the way ?

Second howz the placement scene there guys ?? I applied for SCM ( seeing the repuatation in SCM) but have got no clie on placements for International Students ?

As per Broad's website and indusrty wise michigan is a good bet....but if you see it's the best bet for Automobile industry....IT-Supply Chain Management seems to be good as well because of the presence of IBM ans some other forms in the state....but if you are looking for a core finance job...it would be a tough job...(even my interviewer told me that finance jobs are tougher to get)


I had discussion with Dr. Bain (my interviewer), regarding the internships and placements...she told me...that Indians from IT backgroung are in good demand there in Michigan...and more than 95% students get internships as well....but the domestic students always have a edge over the internationals...but...still the college career services dept. at Broad works hard to get their students placed.

I think it's a good option if not a gr8 one...but michigan is a very cold place....it has subzero temperatures for 3 months (Dec-Feb).....rest all seems fine

Yah Michigan is a cold place but that will not be a issue i believe ( I hope so !! ) What made me apply there was the SCM + IT course and the Good ratio of Ranking and Fees ....

I am not from IT back ground but i am working in a Business Process +Systems ( Business Analyst ) profile so i am exposed to Manging IT projects from Business Processes Angle .. Which i feel may suffuce the IT requirement piece ,, I am again hoping for the best and hope get a decent schol ....as it is going to impact my decision ....Unfortunatley i have not applied to many colleges .. .TAMU , MSU and ISB ( Waitlisted !!!)

Hi Kunal,
I was busy with work and could not post a reply... I mailed them yesterday and they informed that the financial aid decisions will be sent in the next 2 weeks to come.. So let us wait and see what happens.

Btw, do u know what is the deadline for paying the deposit amount. and did u send them the financial proof doc?
