Hi Guys,

Off to a different but most important subject.

Would like to hear from you all on why you have chosen or considering to choose ESADE over other schools? What did you hear of its brand value? Keeping the ratings by various agencies/media aside, what is that you heard about it from some of your friends? Do you think it is more or less in the same league as of LBS,INSEAD and IMD?

I will post my views and reasons after getting few responses.

Well frankly speaking it was more of a personal choice for me rather than rankings or brand values.


After a good exp in working with the Europeans, I decided to study in an European school with good cultural settings.

Moreover I talked to some of the current students and found that it's really gr8 considering the small class size and faculty attention.

Since not many ppl in India know much about ESADE, so I haven't heard any views from my colleagues or friends about it's brand value etc.


Some of my European friends say it's one of the best in Europe. Some say INSEAD / IESE r better.

I didn't apply to INSEAD or LBS as I heard from many ppl that those schools pay an undue stress on work experience which I am not very rich of.

Hope other ppl would put forward their views.

I have also got admit from IE, Spain.

Request you all to revert your views on the following points: -

1. How is it studying in Spain vis a vis other european countries of UK, France or netherlands
2. What will be the job scenario-- post MBA -- for an Indian
3. How IE is compared to IESE / ESADE -- colleges are based out of spain

Even i have an admit from esade spain for their 18 month mba program.

However, i am in a dilemma... i also have an admit from sda bocconi, italy and schulich, canada.

I am waiting for my results of rsm, rotman and hec.

I see that some of you have also got admits from esade.

could you please post your contact details, so that i can contact you people, and we can share whatever knowledge base we have about esade and other schools.

its a very critical decision for us, and we shdnt go wrong.
