BC has a per credit fee system and a total of 56 credits to be completed for graduation. The 36K fee is for the first yr when u will be completing 32 of the 56 credits. So 1st yr is more expensive.

I am planning to reach Boston by the 24th of july.
Ah gotcha, that makes sense - I thought it would be a bit ridiculous for them to publish outdated information in their brochures.

That sounds cool. Let me know if you need any help setting up shop in MA

Hey mkarthik01,

Welcome to this forum buddy. Well firstly let me reiterate what you already know. By shortlisting college has shown an interest in your profile. So be positive on this one.

I would recommend mailing the Adcom and asking them what you should improve on. Like if they want some additional details on anything which can be reflected in your essays. You can also do one thing after a span of 2-3 weeks you can write an essay about points not mentioned in your essays, which wuold make your profile stronger and attach an additional recommendation to further improve your case and mention that you are keen about BC.

Cheers,

Nilesh.

PS: Please mentioon your profile so that it will help others.

Ajeet,

I don't have much infomation on the BC MSF program but I do think it is a good bet purely based on the facts that .. MSFs have the all CSOM resources that
the MBAs do, they have access to the same alumni network, Boston has a lot of financial services firms. these are a few good things about the MSF program that I can think of. However, One cannot compare an MBA course to an MSF course. Also, I am not sure about its rankings or whether it is similar to other MFE courses offered by schools like georgia tech. Neither am I aware of the placement stats. Best thing would be to log onto orkut/facebook to find a few students currently studying the Carroll.
