Chao | Welcome to the thread xamfever... Whats ur profile like ??
The sourse is the mail that I'd received from AIM Manila in reply of my queries and my conversation with Damodar Udyawar, director of AIM's Representative office in Mumbai. Though on the AIM's website it says the course fee is $12000 per annum which comes to about $16000 per annum. However, this data is for year 2004. Now they have revised the course fee to $24,000 and as I've written in one of my earlier post, AIM gives a scholarship of $4000 to each student. so effective course fee is $20,000 which when added with the living expenses for entire course and airfare comes to around 15 lacs INR. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to shekhar80 For This Useful Post:

Shekhar, the 15 lacs fee we are considering is exclusive of the student exchange expenses, I guess. I feel it will cross 18 lacs including the expenses during the student exchange program if we opt to go to some school abroad.Wat say you?

I'd not factored the cost involved in Xchange program. By the way, I saw the list of universities AIM has tied up with for Xchange programs. Looks impressive.

One more thing, you are only 24, don't u think u r too young for 1 year MBA. If selected, am sure u wud be one of the youngest in the batch. Gr8.

I have a doubt. As far as i Know, one is exempted from writing AIMAT only if he has a GMAT score more than 650. Before sending your application, had u spoken to somebody in their India representative office? What was their response?
Earlier, i mean 2 years back, the minimum GMAT requirement was 600, but now they have revised it to 650.
Neway, GMAT score alone does not matter if you have sound Acads and Ex-curric. All the best dude.

Also, as I've not yet writen GMAT, I'd written my AIMAT in Mumbai office and there I'd spoken with AIM staff there. Neway, you are very correct, 640 is good enough for getting an interview call. Lets see. Where else you have applied? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
