16 yrs of education - what courses to opt for? - 26-12-2006, 11:33 PM

Hi All

Kudos to members of Paralguy --- U guyz rock!!

I am a commerce graduate working with a business consulting firm for the past 20 months. I am planning to do an MBA from a leading B-school based out of US , for which i need to have 16 yrs of education. So all you intelligent fellas, please suggest me on the following:

1) Any 1 yr online / distance learning programme offered by leading foreign universities focusing on
- strategy formulation
- specialized field in finance or general finance courses
- Industry specific courses
- Geography specific courses
- Economics / Business economics
- Specialized field of economics
- Liberal Art Education courses
- others (please - please add your inputs and shoot as many categories as possible)

2) How effective is it to undertake such a course from an Indian university? Say if i find a relevant course from Amity / ICFAI etc, would it be acknowledged by Ivy league US B-schools?

Hey pals, please suggest and throw in your suggestions...

Many thanks in advance!!!

Cheers
Sgh
