SP Jain (Singapore/Dubai) GMBA - June 2007 Intake

Did anyone appear for the SPJain aptitute test scheduled yesterday?
If yes, please do share your experiences. I have inquired for the next date and that would be around the month of February.

Hi

I got a call for further evaluation today...hav chosen 4th feb 11.30...

jst had a small doubt...all the rounds will be on the same day....In case we get through the initial rounds...would we hav to stay back the next day ???
that'll be tough in case we book the flight tickets..

And one more thing..they've not mentioned abt the GI..so its not thr??

Dear Veena,
No, you do not need to stauy back beyond the 4th, but pls book a late night flight for the 4th beyond 10 pm.
The final decision will take about a week. Yes, there will also be a group interview.

Dear Rutty,

It would be really nice if you could elaborate the entire process that will take place when we come for our evaluation. The call letter mentions a process of over 6 hours. As per what i know, there is an essay and a case study to be a written, a GD, a GI and a PI.
Is that correct?

Dear Rutty,

I'm interested in submitting an application to SP Jain (Singapore/Dubai). I should be able to finish it and send it in a day or 2. Is it too late now? Or should I still go ahead and try? Will there be more GD's and interview at later dates? I am in Kolkata currently and it will be very difficult to come down to Bombay this weekend, in case I get a call.

In a day or two might be a bit too late for the evaluations on 3/4 th feb but you could be called at a later date.
You may go ahead and submit it anyways as our admissions are open until 30th April 2007 so its not too late

Well to begin with you will have a case study and essay to submit.
After that you will be called for a group discussion and group interview and finally you would have your personal interview.
This entire process takes upto 6-7 hrs as there are abt 20-25 people in a time slot and obviously only 4-5 panels that conduct the group discussion and group interview and the personal interview is taken only by our President. Thus this is bound to take time and hence the whole process lasts upto 6-7 hours
