10th: 87.5%
12th: 91.1%
BE(ECE): 80.2%

May I present a perspective to you.I know 'I' would have give his 2 cents already. Mine will be some myth breakers.

Me : 3 years work IT - non descript companies.. both companies are privately held.
GMAT 690
GPA 3.8
Extra curicullars- too many in college, 1 in 3 y of work ex

Just belive when the ad comm says E-S-S-S-A-Y's, They got me to GSB. One other very impotant aspect - true, deep and honest recommendations.
Its the story that is important - your failure, your introspections, honesty ( if you had not time for community service - say that upfront, spending time with your family is a valid Indian repsonsibility. show it there ), small leaderiship roles, the creativity you brought in work place, little dilemmas.

I was quite impressed with the essays asked by Chicago GSB and also the questions asked in the interviews. I would love to give an interview where such questions are asked and need I say more about the essays? I found them quite holistic! Anyway good show!

It would be great if you can open a new thread on the same...giving a very brief profile about you,the schools you applied to,the thought processes for each school and your final admits. We could have one thread where all could pour in their views. Yes Yes I know that's asking a bit too much but you guys have been doing a great job here..
