I got an email from a student about a question on a transcript...
Just an FYI...

That means our applications are being processed... but no interview calls yet... so sad...

Aren't they supposed to start sending R2 interview invites in February? I am not sure why you're expecting an interview call now...

I guess my post was not clear!
I was surmising the timeline of application processing - for sending an invite adComm starts processing apps now (Jan 7, so on). and they have started the process (as noted by the email I got from the student abt transcripts).. and thus they realistically shud be sending invites by beginning of Feb.. but it all depends on the number of apps for this year...

I was referring to R1 applicants who are waiting for invites .. they shud be confident that their apps are processed, but adCom still holding in sending invites.. why? do not know yet..

all in all, everything is guesswork, and FYI.
