hello rutty,

i would like to know that since dec intake is the winter fall of the intake.
now in 1st batch of dec-2006, only 15 guys were selected and that too with the relevnt work exp in logistics. So it means in dec intake only the work related experienced guys r selected in the concerned streams? if a guy comes from IT background and opts for glm or other stream, his/her chances will be slim?

hi all my question is not technical .i just got selected for sp jain dubai(ib) as i m not aware of the culture and living standard of dubai or singapur .all i want to ask is could i get email id of enyone passed out from sp jain dubai and singapur who help me out in planning things accordingly like what should i rbing with me what r the expences and all ..

I have been going through this thread for 2 hours to get few concerns and answers to my doubts.
First I like to give you my intro I am Arshad Ahmad Passout from BIT , Mesra and working as software engineer in Hewlett packard since June 2005.

My aim is to go to IIM's , and I am striving for that but it seems to be an unreal destiny as competitiion is growing at an immense pace , This year arround 2.8 lakh guys will write CAT .I dont want to take any chance this year and your college impressed me , So please go through my case.

My aim in life is to be a enterpeneur , presently finance is what I thrust for I have been actively trading In BSE/M.F for 1 year , like to read financial reports of company , undertsnad the terminology used in the market. I dont know what kind of job I will get after completion of GMBA , but I would like to be Fund manager in Investment banking.Any special course for this kind of job

Will my profile help me land up a job there. ?

Rutty I have done my schooling from Kuwait so I am custome to the culture there, will that help.

What will be the expenditure ? It s real confusion of academice 1 semster in mumbai other in dubail/singapore , Rutty can you elucidate on that,

Do you have a seminar scheduled at bangalore , If yes do tell me .

I am planning to apply for the Dec07 intake for SMM.
Please go through my credentials and advice me if i need to take the SPJ apti test again or is it ok to apply?
CAT 2004 score 81
Xth 90.2
XIIht 74
B.Tech 72.20(CPI)
Working in Infosys for 1.9 years.
Various extracals and held/holding many positions of responsibilty in Infy also.
Do i stand a chance for getting a call ? or do i need to give SPJ apti again?
Is there a set criteria for for giving out calls?

I want to join dec. 2007 intake prog. for SP JAIN GLOBAL MBA prog.

I m having Work ex. Of 3 years and currently working in Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd.

Last time for june intake prog. I appeared for SP JAIN apptitude test (score 78%).

I m a C.A finalist with 1 group pending(results awaited in july).

My articleship was with Ernst & Young.

I want to know that where do I stand for the chances of getting a call from SP JAIN, with the above academic and professional background.
Do i need to appear again for apptitude test or can i fill up the form with the above score.
Please let me know.Kindly do the needful.

We do offer a specializations in Investment Banking and details of the same are available on our website S.P.Jain Center of Management, Dubai . Singapore

The total fees of the programme are US$ 25600 and you are not studying anything in Mumbai - the course structure is such that you study 6 months in Dubai and 6mths in Singapore.

I do not know your exact details - you may go ahead and send your application and only the admissions commitee will decide on shortlisting you.

Yes we would have interactive sessions for students in Bangalore - the details would be put up on our website in June - pls check the same.
