i have a query --that do u reject any candidate or u put all the candidates in waitlist and what are the chances of being called for gd/pi once a application is put in waiting list.

Hi,
We would need a candidate to have a score before we can shortlist them.
if you do not have a CAt/XAT/GMAT score then we would need you to take the test before we can consider your application for the evaluations.

Hence it would not be possible for us to shortlist you for the evaluations on the 31st of March 07 as you do not have a score on you.
The aptitude test is like any other MBA entrance test where we would test you on Maths,logic,English,GK etc.
There are no sectional cut offs and there is negative marking.

Hi,
You may opt for a stream change only before being evaluated.
Once you are evaluated it is not possible for you to ask for a change in stream.

Hi,
I'm afraid we do not have any sort of transfer system between SPJIMR, Mumbai and SPJCM, Dubai-Singapore.
IF you wish to take admission into SPJIMR,Mumbai you will have to apply separately to them and go thru their own admission process.

Dear Anuj,
Yes we do reject candidates who are not at all suitable or eligible to be shortlisted for our programme.
The decision to shortlist a candidate who is on the waitlist, lies with the admissions Committee.

hi rutty,

am dhananjay. have applied for the investment banking specialization and am all set to take the 14th april aptitude test. would like to know if there are any cutoffs for the test as such. also i havent taken the CAT/XAT/GMAT, so if at all am rejected for the june 2007 intake can i reapply for the december 2007 intake with the same scores or i need to retake the exam.
when do i come to know the scores of this exam? does the evaluation process begin on the same day itself or am given some breathing time in between ? what all do i need to carry with me for the aptitude test ?
would appreciate an early reponse from u

Hi Rutty,

Thanks for the response.My application no. is 14658- IT.Please have a look and let me know if I should give the aptitude test or not .Though I have got the response from GMBA that it is not needed if you have good academics and work-ex but I m still doubtful about it and don't want to take any chance.
