There seems to be a problem with the SUBMIT page in the online application form. I have sent an email to helpdesk@spjain.org and a cc to gmba@spjain.org, however I still havn't received a reply. Could you please let me know how soon the problem will get resolved?

Also i am sending a hard copy today....but i hope its not a problem later when i have tosubmit my 25th Feb aptitude test marks

I am planning to send a hard copy of the application form only after getting my 25th feb aptitude test scores .......or should i send it rite now only without a score........Pls clarify.

I have alreday applied for 10th march as evaluation date. but due to some resons i think i may not be able to attend the eval process on that day. can i have it during last week of march.
please help.
i have already submitted the date. but call letter is yet to come.

Hi there,
I have call for BM and have to send in 2500 USD as a confirmation amount by 2nd March
Can this be extended by a week.

I have heard so much about SPJD (good and not so good)
now i want to hear it from your words ... how good is it .. and then a few q

1 --> Is the placement Agency same in SPjain Mumbai and Dubai? If so would they place their own students first and then the dubai students

2 --> How are people placed ... in Sigapore and Dubai Simultaniously ..

3 --> If i assume i will get a better option while applying in companies in singapore would i be flown there for the interview if i am short listed

4 --> are students part of the placement agency (and roping in companies)

5 --> What is the current status of the last year batch .. from what i have heard that the placement week has started ...

6 --> I have a experience of 38 months in IT (woeking for a Bank) and now i am joining BM .. Can i talk with my ex company to take me back in the same company? (plus i want to try for other options also ... so should i say that i would need placement or not) and will this be considered as a out of campus placement

7 --> Can u direct me to a student who i currently pursuing BM and has a similar profile like mine ... so that we can have a more candid talk ...

It would be of gr8 help if u could respond to these queries .. it would help me take decission in time.

Hello Rutty

I have selected evaluation slot of 11:30AM for 11th March.
As per one of your replies who have said that one should plan to leave after 10:00pm.
I have my last train at 9:30 pm from Andheri that means I will have to leave by 8:30-9:00
Will be it be OK if I book this otherwise I will have to wait for one day for the same train.

Hi,

I have similar profile like you. I have 5 years of IT experience and majority of the same is in Banking domain.

I have chosen IT as specialization, though now I feels banking could have been more suitable. I already paid the initial advance and looking at the profile of students getting selected, I think I have made the right decision.

Placements is also a concern and I am also looking for absolute answer. Answer coming out is that, placement is there but compensation package depends upon your experience and skills.

Hi Rutty,

I wanted to know if SP Jain offers any Scholarships for GMBA.

If you are offering please let me know how to apply for the same and also the maximum scholarship offered by SP Jain.

Also if you are aware of any other external scholarships that we can apply for studying in SP Jain, please let me know about it.

Hi,

I am an IT professional with 2.5+ Yrs of workex and good academics. I have been offered admission and i have accepted the same.I have also paid my confirmation fee for GMBA .

After going through your questions i felt compelled to reply. The reason i chose GMBA are as follows:

1> I know two students (one is a friend and one is a distant acquaintance) from GMBA (Retail and Finance) and both gave me a great feedback on the course.Not to mention both have very good profiles and academics.

2> Going through blogs and roadshows helped me gauge the course a bit better and it definitely sounded good.

3>International exposure (to a certain extent) will help in long term career goals as well.

4> SPJain Faculty + great visiting faculty.

5>Good placemnets record for the 04-5 and 05-06 batches.

I hope the above reasoning helps people clear their doubts on the kind of course and its quality.

On the other hand, It would be great if SPJain Dubai & Sing (Rutty in this case) would publish a bit more placement details and Alumi contacts such as:

>>>> Classification of Indian Job offers , and foreign offers.
>>>> Classifiaction of AVG salaries in INDIA , DUBAI and Singapore.
>>>> Latest (06-07) placement trends.
>>>> Alumi contact numbers and profiles.

This would bring more transperancy to the whole process and furthur enchance GMBA and SPjain image.
