Ask SP Jain Dubai & Singapore: Official Admission Query Thread

Dear Shwetha,

I have been offered a place in SPJCM for the SMM specialization. I have been asked to pay 2500$ before the 27th. And with me presently on a business trip, got to know this just today. Is there any way i can ask the adcom to give me some leeway for a few days more? Though i am keen on taking up the offer, arranging for 2500$ in a couple of days is no easy task. Can you please suggest to whom i can talk about this?

Please do help me out regarding this..

Hi ma'am..
I ve been offered an admit in WM and have to make the $2500 acceptance fee by the 27th of this month..

Now my question is - Ca I make the payment at the Dubai campus and submit my documents at the Mumbai kalbadevi office...

Actually my brother stays in Gardens in Dubai, which is very close to Academic City and the college campus. I have asked him to make my payment of 9125AED at the campus as it will be highly convenient for me..

Since we are also required to submit our documents, can I send my documents to the Mumbai office.. or am I supposed to send them along with the acceptance money only.

the point I want to make is that since the last 3 days were holidays.. my documents can only arrive in Mumbai on time..

Ive repeated myself voer and over again that offered students are NOT to use Pagalguy as the official forum to address their queries and have to only email the official id - gmba@spjain.org

Sending your documents to Mumbai and payemnt in Dubai shouldnt be a problem - but pls send covering letters alongwith the payment/docus mentioning that you have sent the payment to Dubai and docus in Mumbai - so as not to cause confusion - also pls email gmba@spjain.org about this

Hi Shweta,

My application no. is 22476-HRM and I had applied on 29th Feb '08. I am unsure about the lead time required by the institute to update the status of a candidate as on the login page it mention 2-3 weeks and elsewhere about 30-40 days.

Considering it takes 2-3 weeks, my application has not been updated. Can you please let me know by when can I expect this update?

I have done diploma in marine engineering and have 8 yrs of sailing experience.I cleared Class5 certificate from Singapore polytechnic. Right now working with world's number 1 shipping company MAERSK.
Please guide me am i eligible to apply in your institute for the Global Logistics Management course and if yes then please also guide me with the procedure.

the lead time is actually 30- 40 days and pls do let me know where exactly did you read 2-3 weeks so that i may amend the same.

In any case your status will be updated shortly on our website - pls check after a few days.

Hi,
yes you may apply - however I need to metnion that we expect students to have completed 15 years of education atleast. But in certain cases where there is vast work ex the Admissions Commitee maybe willing to look at such cases.

However I cannot comment on your chances as that would deond entirely on the Admissions Commitee
