Dear madam,i have been waitlisted post evaluations.Applied for GLSCM.
Is the applications going to be reviewed in between or it will be done after the next round of evaluations on 5&6th april...

i am mahesh chandra pujari application no:glm-21505 ,i was evaluated on 10th march.i made to the panel interview and yesterday i found in the status as regretted. i am surprised that despite good gd&pi ,and interview i was not selected.i am having 8 plus years of experience and all first class career. i would like you to comment on my evaluation and in which area i was lacking. so that i would prepare myself for the next session . thanking you and waiting for your comments.

i am mahesh chandra pujari ,application no :21505 glm ,i was evaluated on 10th march and despite having good gd&pi and panel interview i found my status regretted yesterday.i would like you to comment on my evaluation.and where i am lacking so that i would prepare according ly for the next session. i am having a rich experience of 8 plus years of experience and all the first class career.

Hi Shweta/ Rutty

I am glad to receive the offer for IB and I will be submitting the first installment as per letter. I have a few queries which if resolved, would turn out to be a decision booster for me.

1) Placement: I have a work ex of two years with Wipro Ltd. and my profile mainly revolved around Transition, Project management, Operations in area of Finance and Accounts (auditing, variance analysis, Payroll taxation, pension for a client in UK). More or less, I am not too ahead of a fresher when it comes to IB as a specialisation. Having seen the profile of last batch, I can say that there will be people with qualifications like CA, CFA etc.I know it depends on an individual to fetch good placement but I was concerned about my standing in comparison (assuming if CA and I perform equally well).

2) Latest figures: As per the latest placement data, both; average and highest salary has decreased. A variation in highest is something which happens but average or rather median is something which represents correct picture. Can you please throw some light re Median?

3) Components of CTC: Would you be able to comment of fixed and variable components of average salaries?

Hi Shweta Mam,

My application No. is 20661- SM

I applied for the Services Marketing stream early january and since then I have been put in WAITLIST status stating that I fall short of "some criteria". I am really concerned rite now as there is no change in my application status so far. I am a little impatient now as the status still reads the same everytime i open the website and enter my details.
I am not really sure that what criteria do I fall short of.
I know the application is reviewed time and again by the admission committee but can you please let me know that when can I know the final status of my application (either rejected or shortlisted for evaluation) as it would help me to a great extent in planning my future ( as the wait has been a little too long now for me )


Below mentioned is my profile for your reference:
10th : 82.8%
12th: 96.1%
B.Tech (NIT kurukshetra): 75%
IT Experience : 20 months till date as a Software Engineer
Excellent extra curriculars and work achievements

Hi,

The competition is tough for all spec!

As I have mentioned several times before - we do not have any fixed no of seats that we have to merely fill up - we are looking for such candidates who arethe right fit for our programme.

I cannot comment on your chances of an offer as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee

Hi,
The waitlist could be reviewed any time - depending on the Admissions Commitee's decision.

The max you would have to wait to know your exact status would be around mid April 08

Hi,

While I cannot give you soecific reasons as to why you were not selected - I can mention that we look at your profile, your perosnality, communications, smartness, domain knowledge, skills acquired during work ex etc while evaluating a candidate.

You may have fallen short on some of these criteria and hence were not selected
