Hi,
It has been mentioned on our website that the last round of evlauations would be on the weekend of April 4th 2008.
So you can check if you are in town around those dates.
We cannot roll over your shortlisting to the next intake. you will have to apply afresh for the Dec 08 intake - as being shortlisted for one intake doesnt necessarily mean you would be shortlisted for the other intakes.
Thanks

Well, here is the hitch ...I am currently working and would be leaving onsite for sometime in March, April ....so in case I am selected for evaluation, can it be rolled over for the Dec 08 intake instead of the may 08 intake ??
Please guide me on the same..

Hi,
The details given on the website are all the details we can share due to reasons of confidentiality.
In any case the avg sal is what you could expect - even if you work in India.
thanks

the highest salary offered was 56,00,000 and average salary was around 11,00,000.
But If these figures are inclusive of both Indian and Foreign salaries, then the figures are not giving the actual picture.
In SPJMIR site they are separately giving

Hi,
Yes , the Admissions Commitee does look into the fact that you are from Mumbai University.
Hpwever we do expect a minimum of 60 - which is not unattainable - even by Mumbai University standards -
However the waitlist is reviewed from time to time by the Admissions Commitee as and when need be, and students found suitbale are shortlisted.
However there is no fixed time frame as to when this happens - maximum would be till about a few days after we close for admisssions - ie. 31st March 08
Thanks

I hope that Adcomm doesn't compare students from different universities as it is very easy to get 60%+ in other universities. I am not saying that my application should be considered because of this reason.
Can you tell me what could be the next step of the Adcomm?
And whether people appearing for SPJAT on 1st march will get preference over me?

This post is to answer all the queries and doubts that you may have regarding the SPJAT. 1. Firstly, it is a PAPER BASED test and not a computer based test as it was in the last intake. 2. The paper is divided into various sections which will be based on the areas that we test you on 3. Areas that we test you on would be broadly - Quantitative, Verbal, Logic, GK 4. The test is for ONE hour from 11am - 12 noon 5. Total marks - 100. There would be NEGATIVE MARKING and this would be taken into account while calculating your total score 6. There are NO SECTIONAL CUT OFFS - we expect your OVERALL SCORE to meet out cut off hope this has clarified your doubts. Thanks Shweta Quote:
