I m from Chennai.....Just want to know whether SP Jain will conduct its test in chennai in Feb/march 08.....chennai doesnt feature for feb 2nd???????

I have about 8 months of exp in the IT field, working with an MNC. Currently in Banking and financial solution domain
Acads:
CAT 06:80.82%ile
Graduation- Engg(70%) distinction
12th-first class
10th-Distinction
Extra curricular-Very good, internationally published papers, presented papers at national and state level symposia,won prizes at several symposia and lead the college's students' section of Instrumentation Systems and Automation during graduation and well conversant with French.

I am keenly inclined towards investment banking. I applied to your GMBA program(Jun 07) intake but was put on the shortlist for a long time.

I reapplied to May 08 intake for the GMBA(IB). My status says Waitlist-Initial screening. I will be taking aptitude test.

I want to know how are my chances at SP Jain Dubai considering that you take freshers or candidates with less than 2/3 years of experience

Hello,

Since the expenses for the entire course of GMBA is too high as per Indian standards, is there any loan facility that SPJain Dubai/Singapore provides?

I have heard that SBI provides loan facility to SPJIMR students without any colateral/gaurantee.

Can SPJain Dubai/Singapore students also avail any such facility?

hi..
i screwed up CAT.
I am planning to write Aptitude test of SPJAIN.
my acads r as follows
X: 82%
X11: 63%
Engineering: 70.40%
work experience: 15 months(software engineer)
if suppose i get a 85%ile in spjain aptitude test,wat r my chances of getting a call?
Inconsistent performance in academics is my major concern.
Kindly help telling shall i apply for spjain aptitude test or not,as the exam costs 2000/- rs.
please help soon as the last date is 27th and i need to post the draft.

Hi,
I do not have this information as to how oftenthe applications are screened - yes it is a rolling process wherein applications are screened continuously as and how they r received .
It is clealry mentioned that it tkae about 30-40 days for you to know your application status.

Hi,

Let me clarify-
First and foremost we DO NOT DECLARE the results on the day of the Evaluation itself.
It has been clealry mentioned in the CAll letter that it would take 2-3 weeks for us to update your status on the site.

If you are offered we will inform you of the appropriate date for payment of fees.

We havent yet decided anything baout further tests - so I cannot comment whtehr we would be conducting the test in Chennai or not

It can take utpo even 30-35 days - I suggest you may pls check our website after about a week or so to check if your status has been updated

Hi,

I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee.
We usually prefer candidates with about 2-3 yrs work although we do consider freshers only if they are outstanding. DO u have atleast a first class in ALL yrs of graduation?

Just FYI - in my opinion you need not tkae the SPJAT as you already have a score that meets our requirements
