1. No, we do not have any sectional cut offs - we look a the overall percentile
2. To get a call you will need to meet all of our criteria - but in terms of entrance test scores - your CAT score meets our cut off
3. IF you wish totkae the SPJAT - its being conducted on the 2nd of FEb - its held on specific dates and is not clubbed alongwith the GD/PI
4. Yes we will consider the best among the 2

but in my opinion you need not tkae our test as you havea scoret hat meets our cut off

Hi,

We look atthe overall CAT score and do not have any sectional cut offs - your CAT score is fine as it meets our cutoff - you need not tkae the aptitude test.

The rest of your profile also seems fine - however I cannot comment on your chances as that is a decision of the Admissions Commitee

Hi,
Your CAT percentile is fine as i t meets our cut off - hence you need not take the SPJAT
However pls note that merely having a high CAT score doesnt necessarily mean that you would automatically get shortlisted - only if the Admissions COmmitee feels you are fulfilling ALL otehr criteria as well - only then you would get shortlisted.

We do not have sectional cut offs - we look atthe overall percentile

If you do not send the DD we will not register u for the test and u would anyways not be able to generate your hall ticket.

Hey buddy,

sp sing/ dub doesen't take the xat score. so you need to submit either of:

cat
gmat
spjat : spjain's own aptitute test.

To: Shweta Maam,

All my years of graduation is well above first class. I have secured in around 74-75% in all semesters. Moreover our college is very reputed college in chem engg since 1942.

Nways i have few more queries for you. If you dont mind.

1) you must be knowing that Spjat is ard 2 weeks from now. I need to know that whether the authorities conduct the aptitude test again for may intake apart from this 2feb,08 exam. Actually i dont want to take second chance dis time and wanna prepare to the best.

2) Whether there is any advantage if you apply early as the deadlines are upto 31st march. Last time i applied at around the deadline only.

3) In the previous application, I applied under IB....so this around i ll be applying under Finance only may be WM. As 1st stage of application involves no essays ...only form filling. so how can i emphasize them to shortlist my name for 2nd stage process. As i dont have finance background and moreover if i will opt for other branch, they might ask me why i have choosen IB in Jan intake??????

I am not able to submit my form online for the GMBA May Intake 2008 for the past few days.

Let me explain the problem in detail.

I had duly filled all relevant sections 1) Personal Details 2) Academic Details
3) Work Experience 4) Other Information.
Once I saved -> clicked on Confirm -> Tick the 'I Agree' Checkbox -> Press SUBMIT , the application should ideally submit and provide me with an acknowledgement no. to be used for future correspondence.
However, after I click SUBMIT, it shows ' Errors on the page' in status bar and doesnt seem to submit.

I have been trying to submit my application for more than a week now, from different places, but the problem remains the same.

Could you suggest me in this regard. I can share my login credentials with you, in case you can provie help to me.

i have 3+ yrs of work ex and good acads till X and XII.
X - 89.4
XII - 84.3
In my graduation,i have 59.23% as the overall percentage.I didnt score a first class in 2nd and 3rd yr.
I have decent extra curriculars and reco letters from employer
I had applied for the Information management prog on dec27 for but still havent got any response?
Do u think i have a chance? If yes
Shd i go for SPJAT exam as i didnt perform well in CAT.

Shashank,

The problem occurs when any of your inputs exceed the word limit. The application doesn't throw any message though. There isn't any validation on the word limit either. I could figure that out when I was submitting my application. Try removing a few words from your inputs, especially from the Achievements and Extra Curricular Activities section. This should work.
