Hi,

I got 85.07 percentile in CAt 2007 and sent a mail to gmba@spjain.com requesting them for a score update.I received a confirmation today that the score will be updated.

An hour later I got a mail stating that i fall short of Cut off and I need to take SPJain Aptitide test.It is laso mentioned that this could be i)that the CAT score is not updated 2) the candidate falls short of teh expected percentile in CAT/GMAT

Can you let me know which of the above two cases is applicable for my application?

Do I still need to take SPJain Aptitude Test though i scored 85.07 percentile?

heyi...
ive been through around 20 pages of this thread only...so plz dun mind me askin questions already asked....

im currently doin my BBA From Symbiosis...will be givin my GMAT soon...n expecting around 640+.....
what are the chances of my admissions in th global MBA...specialisin with marketing...preferably service maktg.

also since im gonna be a fresher...in the sense without work-ex.....what is th package i could be expectin from th course mentioned...with jobs in INDIA....or abroad....with what profiles....i would like to kno...what are ur predictions in terms of th package and also the packages which STUDENTS WITHOUT WORK EX have been getting from MBA with SMM....

my undergrad avg is around 80% with 84% and 70% in 10th n 12th.....
have taken part in various coll activities....organizing committees....n won prizes for badminton and best debator....also taken part in a lot of sports throughout my academic life so far....

waiting for some really helpful response from you....

Hi,

You would not need to take the aptitude test as your score meets our cut-off. We would consider your score alongwith a lot of other factors before deciding to shortlist a candidate.

it would depnd on your past profile and the knowledge gined from the programme - it could be anything from consultant to manager etc

Hi,
You need not tkae the test as your CAT score mets our cut off.

pls give me ur application no.

PLs ignore the email sent to u as it maybe due to an over sight

Hi,
Are you a graduate or would you be graduating soon?
IF you are not a graduate you would not be able to apply for the MAY 08 intkae as we need studnets to be complete graduates at the time of submitting their application.

While we prefer students with work ex, we do consider freshers who are outstanding.

I cannot comment on your chances as that is a decision of the Admissions Commitee.
